The Frontgrade SBC-2A72 VPX Single Board Computer delivers powerful, radiation-tolerant computing in a compact 3U-160mm SpaceVPX form factor. Powered by the VA7230 Dual ARM® Cortex®-A72 processor with integrated GPU, it provides 10.4 GFLOPs of performance to handle demanding payload processing, real-time graphics, and mission-critical control functions. Lightweight and energy-efficient, the SBC-2A72 VPX is optimized for SWaP-constrained spacecraft, enabling customers to achieve high capability without compromising size, weight, or power budgets.

Engineered for flexibility and mission assurance, the SBC-2A72 VPX integrates a CertusPro-NX-RT FPGA and XMC+ mezzanine interface, allowing scalable I/O options without costly hardware redesigns. Its radiation-tolerant MPU and built-in security features such as secure boot and Arm TrustZone™, ensures dependable performance in harsh environments. With broad connectivity, robust memory, and secure data handling, the SBC-2A72 VPX is purpose-built to support payload data processing, high-speed communications, imaging, and secure command and control in spaceborne systems.
